Galveston "I wish I really was one" Island

What felt like eight thousand months in the making (and took me just as long to post about) finally came to fruition on the weekend of July 18th. The ladies who brunch branched out and sought a house on the island. Two of our girls missed out though with their two new additions to the families. They were missed but we made sure to have them there in spirit with us.

I couldn't tell you what we were most excited about: the house (it was absurdly cute), the delicious cake (Sweet Georgie picked up a small version of her wedding cake for us!) or the fantastically fun pictures we all knew Sweet D would be taking. Oh, not to mention the True Blood viewing and too many stories to retell afterwards.

#yourenotasalad, amIright?

Apologies on the cell phone quality but HOW ADORABLE IS HER MIRROR COLLAGE???
I MUST have an apron sink in my next house. Must, must must.

The entire home FELT like home for the weekend.

Can I haz?

Adorable, right?

G and I met up at K-Money's house in Pearland before we all piled into HER car ("I vacuumed cheerios, damn it, we're taking my car!") and hit the road for the island with grey skies ahead of us. We were met with more lies than not from G's map app (I don't know what it's called, y'all...some newfangled word for fancy from iPhone users) but we made it safe and sound with a quick stop at Starbucks.

Once Dahnya drove up, the party could really get started! Malibu, baby!
Isn't she cute? Little liar had a secret up her sleeve...
Saturday morning dawned beautifully and we rallied for brunch and some shopping. We made our way to the strand and stumbled on some amazingly beautiful antique shops and very quirky places too. We got ice cream and took pictures and just had a fantastic day. I'd like to state now that apparently my three girlfriends are all camels because they NONE OF THEM had to pee. Like once. It was awful. Just awful.

That is nothing of importance but they both thought the gate was cute. Aren't THEY cute because of that? Denim vest, ftw.

Much coffee was drunk through the weekend and this little shop was delicious and had the cutest sign, no?
Posting this months after the fact means I've forgotten more than I remember which makes me a sad panda. I know we all became besties with motherf*ck!ng ROBERT and watched 11 chapters of the most ridiculous hiphopera ever created. Please watch immediately. It's still yet to be completed!

These women are incredible and so joyous. I love each of you so much!
Get ready for the onslaught! It involves photo shoots in the bedroom (scandalous) and reading classic Playboy's (hey, it was for the articles), oh my!

Love, love, love. And so fierce.

We got a woo girl.

Galveston bunnies!
Can't wait to do it all again, ladies!
